Growing up in a family of musicians, Michael began singing when he could talk, started playing the piano at age 10, and picked up the guitar at 13.  Getting to participate in a dynamic music program at MacArthur High School in Irving, TX, he gained a passion for music that would lead him to pursue a career in it.  Michael earned a Bachelors degree in Music Education at Centenary College of Louisiana, where he formed a Christian band who signed a record deal, played in an acoustic cover band, toured the region, the country, and the world with nationally recognized choirs, and led worship throughout Texas and Louisiana.

Michael is currently serving as the worship leader at Covenant United Methodist Church in The Woodlands, TX.  He is also a private guitar, piano, and voice instructor, and is a young life leader.
