Henry Watts, Cello
Henry Watts began playing the cello at the age of 11. Shortly thereafter Henry began performing with churches, community orchestras, and in small ensembles for parties, business events, and weddings. Henry is also a professional pianist and regularly accompanies both church and school choirs and he accompanies solo and ensemble events for both voice and instrumental students. Henry earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a focus on Strings from the University of Houston. While in his undergrad Henry studied cello under David Tomatz and Vagram Saradjian. Henry also studied composition under Robert Nelson.
Henry now teaches orchestra at Baines Middle School and Ridge Point High School. Both schools are located in Missouri City in the Fort Bend ISD.
